Troubleshooting

Start with the symptom below, verify the visible settings, and test again before contacting support.

Cannot send email

Confirm the SMTP server, encrypted port, full mailbox address, and mailbox password. Remove obsolete outgoing-server entries, re-enter the password, and send one test message. A queued message is not proof of final delivery.

Cannot receive email

Confirm the IMAP server, encrypted port, full mailbox address, and password. Check that the domain and mailbox are enabled, the mailbox has storage available, and the sender did not receive a rejection notice.

Password or login rejected

Use the mailbox password for email and Webmail, not a Console password or API token. Re-enter the complete mailbox address, check keyboard language and saved passwords, then reset the mailbox password if needed.

DNS verification fails

Compare every detected record with the value shown in Console. Remove duplicate or malformed records, but preserve unrelated legitimate mail-service authorisation. Allow time for DNS caches to expire before checking again.

Mailbox storage is full

Delete unneeded messages and empty the Bin, or export important messages before removing them. An organisation administrator can review the mailbox quota and current usage in Console.

Contact support

If the problem remains, include the affected address or domain, approximate time, device and application, visible error text, and steps already tried. Never send passwords, API tokens, signing secrets, private keys, or complete message content.
